Hope Autism Society was founded in London, United Kingdom in 2019. We aim to promote the best of British expertise, relevant to autism spectrum disorder in developing countries and regions. We focus on Kurdistan Region, and those with Kurdish heritage in the United Kingdom as they are a disadvantaged group.

We are a not-for-profit entity, and run by volunteers, hoping to change societal perceptions towards those with autism, and ultimately shaping government policy in respect to autism. We do not provide diagnosis for children or adults, but highlight services available both in the United Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region.

We hope to raise awareness, shape government policymaking decisions in relation to children’s development, and improve the quality of living for those on the autism spectrum disorder.

Campaigns

We work to promote policies and legislation that puts the interests of those with autism at the centre of policymaking.

Workshops

We aim to provide regular workshops for families of children and adults that are diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum disorder.

Public Awareness

In order to make Kurdistan Region more friendly and accommodating towards those with autism, we have multiple raising awareness campaigns on social media platforms that aims to equip Kurdistani communities with the ability to understand autism.
